Just like all of the other services at Bodies by Burgoon, our yoga instructors are trained to teach, guide, challenge, and build up our clients. There are no mirrors in the facility, only a focus on good, distraction-less workouts, so you can leave feeling strong. An hour of of stretching, flexibility, strength, breathing, focus, and soft music can do great things for our minds and bodies, including:
- Increased strength and flexibility
- Mental endurance and physical stamina
- Better posture
- Better breathing
- Fewer aching muscles and joints
Yoga 101: A slow-paced, teaching-focused yoga clinic designed to help participants understand the basics of yoga — from breathing to poses — so you can have a solid foundation for your yoga practice!
Vinyasa Yoga: The practice of connecting breath to purposeful movement to build strength, balance, and focus. Through the connection of breath to movement, those practicing build toward toward mindfulness, mental stamina, being present in the moment, stress relief, and relaxation. Common poses include: mountain, plank, chair, downward/upward dog, warrior/warrior two, tree, bow, camel, ragdoll, and crow (among others).
Yoga mats are available to rent for $2. Cost per class is $9.
